Meet Thomas H. Cawthon, MD

Montgomery, Alabama (AL) cosmetic surgeon Dr. Thomas H. Cawthon is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery, a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology.

After obtaining his undergraduate degree in pharmacy from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, Dr. Cawthon went on to obtain his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. The cosmetic surgeon went on to complete his residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following two years in the Army as a surgeon at Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center at Fort Gordon, Georgia, he began his practice in Montgomery in 1977. He has served on the Board of Directors of Jackson Hospital and Clinic, Capital City Club, Montgomery Surgical Center, BankTrust Bank and was president of the Montgomery Medical Society.
