Physician Information

Dr. John T. Alexander II is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine. Dr. Alexander received his medical degree from the University of Maryland and completed five years of General Surgery training at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He received his Plastic Surgery training at the prestigious University of California, San Francisco.

Dr. Alexander continues a tradition of excellence in Plastic Surgery, having learned first hand techniques and systems developed by his father, Dr. John T. Alexander, Sr., one of Southern California's preeminent Plastic Surgeons. In addition, he is experienced in the most recent advances in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, allowing him to broaden the scope of treatments available to achieve consistently superb results for his patients.

Dr. Alexander has authored chapters in surgical textbooks and published original Plastic Surgery research. He has lectured and presented his results at national and international meetings. His other interests include art, music, and law. He and is wife, Candese, have two children.
