Dr. Derr is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He received his medical degree from the George Washington University in Washington, DC and went on to complete residencies in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dr. Derr's post-graduate work included a fellowship in microsurgery at the University of Louisville, Division of Plastic Surgery, Department of Surgery and a cosmetic fellowship in Miami, Florida. As a private practitioner, Dr. Derr focuses on all aspects of cosmetic plastic surgery, however his main areas of interest include: facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement surgery and body contouring procedures. Dr. Derr is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Louisville and previously held the full-time faculty position of Assistant Professor in Surgery (Plastic). He is a renowned laser surgeon in the areas of facial resurfacing, spider vein treatment and tattoo removal as well as an experienced practitioner of cosmetic dermal fillers and BOTOX® Cosmetic and advanced skin care protocol. |
