Meet Thomas McFadden, MD
At Advanced Cosmetic Surgery, Dr. McFadden is devoted to performing cosmetic surgery and aesthetic procedures. All major surgeries are performed in an accredited, state-of-the art operating facility at our location. As a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery, Dr. McFadden is one of two plastic surgeons in the state of South Carolina who performs endoscopic breast augmentation which can be performed with use of either silicone or saline implants. He has an excellent reputation for producing remarkable results that are natural and long lasting in the areas of facial rejuvenation, breast augmentation, breast lift (mastopexy), tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), liposuction and massive weight loss surgery for complete body contouring for post gastric bypass patients. Advanced Cosmetic Surgery also performs Botox, lasers procedures for resurfacing, hair removal, vein treatment, and dermal fillers on a daily basis and prides itself on giving you the best value for your money to achieve your desired results.
Dr. McFadden received his medical degree from the University Of South Carolina School Of Medicine in Columbia, South Carolina. Following medical school, he completed his internship in general surgery at the U.S. Air Force Medical Center Kessler, followed by his residency in general surgery at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. He then served four years in the U.S. Air Force as a general surgeon in Shreveport, Louisiana. Having discovered a passion and talent for plastic surgery, Dr. McFadden continued his residency training in plastic surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wisconsin. He then went onto further his plastic surgery training further with an aesthetics fellowship with world renowned plastic surgeons Drs. Thomas Baker, Howard Gordon, James Stuzin, and Tracy Baker at Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami, Florida.
Considered an authority in his field, Dr. McFadden has authored numerous publications about the latest advancements in facial rejuvenation and aesthetic enhancement. His expertise has garnered attention from peers and aesthetic manufacturers who chose him as a consultant for Ethicon Endosurgery (makers of the Harmonic), Colbar LifeScience (makers of Evolence) and Eleme' Medical (makers of SmoothLipo, a laser liposuction device, and SmoothShapes, a cellulite reduction laser) as well as a speaker for Allergan (makers of Botox, Juvederm and Natrelle Silicone and Saline Breast implants), and Sciton lasers (widely considered the finest resurfacing laser available).
