Physician Information

Dr. Alexander Donath is board certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is board eligible by The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Currently, Dr. Donath is the Board Certified Director of Cincinnati Facial Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Donath graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University, where he was a scholarship recipient and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. He then completed medical school at the University of Cincinnati where he became president of the school's American Medical Student Association chapter. Following medical school, he went on to complete a five-year residency training program in Head and Neck Surgery at St. Louis University. Additionally, he spent time studying at Harvard Medical School with the director of facial plastic & reconstructive surgery. Having found a passion for facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, Dr. Donath was selected for a highly competitive fellowship in facial plastic surgery with the Glasgold Group in Highland Park , New Jersey.
