Meet Donald I. Wakeham

A Calgary, Alberta cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Donald I. Wakeham is a member of Canadian and American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He offers a fully equipped outpatient surgical facility that is accredited by the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Dr. Wakeham completed his undergraduate work at Saint Frances Xavier University, Nova Scotia, Canada and completed his professional training at the University of Western Ontario, Ontario, Canada. He went on to complete his four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City, United States. Dr. Wakeham continued on with a two year fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery and a one year fellowship in Cosmetic Surgery under the auspices of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He has served as Chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for Calgary General Hospital, Colonel Belcher Hospital and Holy Cross Hospital.

Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Wakeham has received extensive training and performs the QuickLift® mini-facelift procedure along with other non-invasive facelift procedures and has shared his knowledge and anti aging expertise with other physicians at Live Surgery Workshops sponsored by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, The American Society of Hair Restoration Surgery and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has also authored articles for scientific publications.
